Occasional side effects
- Less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 in 1000 people treated.
- Weight loss,
- Palpitations, rapid heartbeat (tachycardia),
- Decrease in the number of white blood cells (leukopenia); this increases the risk of infection, decreased blood supply to the brain, sensory disturbances (including tingling formication and decreased sensation to touch), drowsiness, insomnia, memory disturbances, taste disturbances,
- Clouding of the lens of the eye with impaired vision (cataracts), eye irritation, blurred vision,
shortness of breath, - Abdominal pain, inflammation of the oral mucosa, dry mouth,
- increased urination,
- itching or dry skin, hives,
- inflammation of the joints (arthritis),
- Generalised swelling due to water retention,
- urinary tract infections,
- Tumour pain (not with concomitant adjuvant and extended concomitant adjuvant therapy),
seizure-like chest pain and heart attack (ischaemic cardiac events), inflamed blood vessels (including superficial and deep veins with clots), - increase in blood pressure,
- fever, dry mucous membranes, thirst,
- Changes in liver enzyme levels,
- Bleeding from the vagina, discharge, dry vagina, breast pain,
- Anxiety disorders (including nervousness and irritability),
cough.
